Our C-127 caboose has a a long history, being built in 1921 as a wooden caboose with a steel underbody, for the Boston and Maine Railroad. Then in 1959, the caboose was rebuilt with new steel sides. Upon its retirement it was sold to the Adirondack Railroad where it stayed until 2019, when it was purchased by the New Hope Railroad. Then, in 2020, the car was restored where you can find it attached to most of our trains!
